About Sean Bryant
I’m a documentary filmmaker, archival producer, and video editor with more than five years of experience creating research-driven nonfiction work. I founded Rhythmic Reason, a documentary channel with more than 54,000 subscribers and millions of views, where I research, write, edit, and deliver long-form films from concept through publication.
My current work centers on an expansive archival docuseries about J Dilla. The project draws on years of primary research across print publications, television broadcasts, interviews, private collections, and online repositories. I also founded the Dilla Magazine Archive to locate, preserve, digitize, and organize rare publications documenting his life and career.
My work combines archival discovery, source verification, narrative development, asset management, rights outreach, and post-production using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
